Thom Barends – ArtEZ (Institute of the Arts Arnhem), Holland

For this collection, I was inspired by the economic changes in our society. My generation is the first who is not assured of a better financial standard then their parents. So we have to work with the luxury our parents created. My collection is based on a fictive woman who ends up on the streets with nothing left but her mother’s clothes.
